The best for bluegrass

There's a reason Tony played these. I first heard about them from my buddy who got so much volume out of these. I was previously using D'addario EJ17's which I like but these give a little extra volume boost and sound great. I play a lot and string once a month but they still sound very workable after a month in case you like to run your strings longer.
Great strings!

The true sound of Acoustic Guitar

Excellent strings, monels were the go to string years ago and is the definitive sound on so many classic albums. They don't "color" the tone like other types of strings, its the instruments true sound coming out.
You gotta try these strings.

It's a personal thing but I loved them as soon as I tuned the up for the first time. Get some extra out if your guitar.

An old bandmate told me about Martin Retro monel strings a few years ago and I've been using them ever since. I use 13s on my Martin D-16 and 12s on my Martin mahogany 00-DBI always keep extra sets on hand. They bring out the best in both instruments.

These are great strings for old timey/ bluegrass music. Give them a day or two to settle in. Have them on a 000-28 Norman Blake Signature.
