Fantastic Strings

Wow - I just love playing the SP Custom Light Martin strings. The sound is so bright and clean. If you like playing with Light strings give the "custom Light" a try. I have been sticking with these over the "Light" SP from Martin.

Harsh feeling

I put these on my GS Mini to replace stock mediums. These 11s felt worse than the stock medium strings. They deadened the sound and murdered my finger tips. I don't see how anyone can like the Acoustic SPs. I recommend paying a little more and getting higher quality strings.

    I have been using these, and only these, strings for 16 years now and have never had any problems. They will be the only acoustic strings I will ever use!

    I replaced the original strings on my Fender CD140SCE acoustic-electric guitar and the sound improvement is simply amazing. The sound is much more warm, rich and full. Very nice bass end and warm (not tinny) high end. The strings are easy on my fingers and increased the fun of playing an already exceptionally fun, great sounding and comfortable guitar. I Haven't had them long enough to know about their durability, but these are definitely worth replacing a little more frequently, if necessary. I plan to put these on my Ibanez AEL20 acoustic-electric when it's time to change those strings.

    Have Only had these strings on my Guitar for a short time, the tone sounds great so far. Obviously time will tell if they hold up.
