    Not quite as muscular a sound on my 000-28 as I get out of heavier strings but these are absolutely perfect for complex riffs and they seem to last almost forever without a dip in quality.

    I bought a Martin 000X-1 at Guitar Center a few years back and it came with Light Strings on it, 0.11 through whatever. I changed those strings out with the Martin Extra Lights and find playing the acoustic much easier.... These strings also effected the tone and sound projection for the better and when a guitar is easier to play, it's played more often. Switch your Light Strings out with these Martin Extra Lights and you'll be playing your acoustic more often and it will be sounding like an acoustic should....

    I have these strings on a Martin DC16-RGTE. The high-end from the Extra Light pairs nicely with the Martin Dreadnaught, which has fantastic low end. The extra lights are easy on the fingers - I get about four hours of set time with them.
