Great strings for all styles on 12-Strings. I like this one better than the M180 80/20 Bronze. But both sound nice. You can bang on them or play lightly classical style, sounds good all the time! They never break (knock on wood)!

Well I'm also really confused, I'm using Martin strings on most of my accoustic guitars and I've never experienced that any ball has fallen of the strings.. I'm using this set on my 12-string Guild, the tone is excellent and the strings seems to be pretty long lasting. Wich is something I really appriciate on a 12-string guitar. If would consider a change it would be to the Martin longlife.

The first reviewer confounds me. The ball kept falling off the string? What?! I have used these strings on my Martin 12 strings for over 9 years now and NOT ONCE has that ever happened. These strings are great, they last long when taken care of and cleaned after use (Fast fret) and have a midrange tone. They don't last as long as the Elixers but they are also 1/3 the price. I like the Elixers also, but to give these strings a 1 star just was crazy to me. They are great strings from a great company.

I work for a professional backline rental company. I purchased these strings by request of a client. My guitar tech had a heck of a time with the extra thin strings. While trying to get the guitar in tune the ball kept falling off the end of the string. The strings also broke before he could get them in tune. We ended up not using the stings because they kept breaking. Not a good product by our standards.
