X Series
X Series Guitars feature patented high pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, patented mortise-and-tenon neck construction, and professionally installed Fishman electronics. The result: great-sounding, great-playing guitar, that is environmentally friendly, and priced to fly out the door. This is one of Martin's best values ever. The X Series affirms Martin's commitment to providing an affordable and competitive option for players dedicated to live performance and studio recording.

Note: Due to supply chain issues from COVID-19, Martin cannot guarantee a faux tortoise pickguard. During this time, the guitar you receive may have a black pickguard. We apologize for this inconvenience and as soon as the supply chain issue is resolved, the faux tortoise pickguard will be standard again.

this is a great guitar, feels awesome, sounds great. it has a better sound than my all solid mahogany washburn. The solid sitka top is sharp. neck feels like it was made for my hand. really nice Martin gig bag too. the HPL sides and back are resilient and dont take away from sound

Very fine guitar don't know why I waited so long to upgrade to a Martin (over half a century) The action is phenomenal ... great for lead work ... great for rhythm ... smooth, fast and very clean sound.

The change of richlite to wood for the neck, fretboard and bridge made a huge change to the sound of this guitar. Much more sustain. The guitar sounds and plays great!

I want to experience that feeling
of when they start opening up after the 5-10-15-20-year marks?
. so, if anyone can help me, and tell me if the GPC-X2 will
give me that experience? I would really appreciate it. It says " solid Sitka spruce top" in the add? Thanks Adam-
