Martin guitars just are great quality guitars. This 000jr-10 is no exception. Build quality, sound, and the look of the guitar is great. Solid wood. The stock Martin Retro nickel strings are unique and sound great. One the better guitars in the 7/8 guitar class. Not many options in the 7/8 guitar class which is a shame. I do have some minor things that I am not fond of. Not fond that it did not come with a pick guard and it is very difficult to find a pickguard to fit. Seems like Martin should sell pickguards for this guitar. Also, for a smaller 7/8 guitar like this, I think the nut size at 1-11/16" would be a better fit. It is very comparable to the Taylor G-Mini in size, sound, and quality. Both are excellent guitars. I am not sure which one I like better. However, this is solid wood. The Taylor G-Mini comes with a better case, but that is not really a big issue. Not sure why they discontinued it. Seems like more options available like Taylor G-Mini is good.

I bought this for travel and situations where I'd rather not use my more expensive Martin. This little guys sounds very good and I think I'll be using it more than I thought.

I love this guitar it's awesome. I upgraded the bridge pins to ebony Martin ones and added a Martin om Pickguard to it and it looks so cool now. Sound is insane I would totally recommend this to anyone in the 500-600 dollar range.

Very nice guitar, slightly smaller then a regular 000 but if anything I prefer it more since it's easier to hold for me. The finish is very nice and you can tell the instrument was well crafted. It's all real wood no hpl stuff so having some sort of humidifier is necessary. Has a very good balanced sound to it.

I'm getting old and full size guitars hurt my shoulders. They just don't feel right. The 000 Jr is really perfect in size and sound. A high quality instrument. The strings it ships with (Martin Retros) are OK but not optimal. Phosphor Bronze strings work much better IMO. Get one.
It's the sound that gets me

I wanted a guitar that sounds like recordings I love that have Martin guitars in them, and this one does it for me. It's just a beautiful sound, rich in mids, fairly quiet in the lows and highs. I like the wide nut for fingerpicking, and the richlite fingerboard is smooth and comfortable. My only complaints are that the guitar doesn't intonate that well up the neck, and the fret ends are a little (just a little) poky, but neither of those issues was enough for me to return it.
