This Martin 000-28E Modern Deluxe acoustic-electric guitar is packed with vintage appointments, custom features and modern technology. A spruce Vintage Tone System (VTS) top, dovetail neck joint and natural protein glue construction delivers the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations.

European flamed maple binding, stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners and a unique 1930s-style script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock give it a look to match its sound. Ultra-modern features like Liquidmetal bridge pins with red dots and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate boost volume without adding weight, making this a guitar player's dream. Adjustable Aura imaging technology included in the new Fishman Aura VT Blend electronics allows more control over the voice of the guitar than ever before. The Martin 000-28E Modern Deluxe comes with a hardshell case and is strung with Martin Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 light gauge strings.

    I have been playing for about 8 months and have several guitars including a Taylor and I have to say this martin 000-28e modern deluxe is superb in it's sound, looks and weight factor. The electronics are the best I have ever heard. Love this guitar.

    I have played Martin guitars for 50 years. This was a gift from my adult kids a year ago to replace a previous D-41 I had to sell. Amazing tone, easy to play, electronics work great - all around a perfect guitar. Sounds best with Phosphor Bronze strings.

    The most comfortable guitar I have ever played. The neck feels like an electric but the guitar sounds amazing. I was originally looking at the Eric Clapton version of the 00028 or the 00018, but as soon as I picked up this thing, It was over. 2 years later I still play it more than any other guitar I have and love it just as much as the day that I bought it. This thing is SUPER responsive to string choice which is awesome because if you get bored of the sound, just change up the strings and it acts like a completely different guitar.
