Marshall

Description

The 100W Marshall Plexi 1959SLP all-tube amp head cranks out fabulous lead distortion and tight crunch exactly like the original '67 to '69 amp that it emulates. Inspired by Pete Townshend's unquenchable thirst for VOLUME, the Marshall Plexi 1959SLP guitar amp delivers 100W of power from 4 EL34s and 3 ECC83 tubes in the preamp-the exact configuration of the original. Marshall also equips the Plexi 1959SLP with a bypass series FX loop, 3-band EQ, and presence control.

I bought mine in 1993 the first month the reissue came out.Mine doesn't have the FX loop, but thats OK.These are good Reissues.Marshall took the best amps they had and measured every part. You need the right speakers,No 70 watts. This is a great amp. I still play mine everyday,my neighbors love me.

This Amp has that amazing Vintage Plexi tone! no matter what other people say about how the reissues dont sound as good as the old ones its not true I studied and played every plexi I could get my hand's from 67 and on and the only difference is price and the new ones are a little bit brighter which only makes it better for recording.
