Nice little amp

I wanted a solid-state amplifier with enough oomph to play in a room with a drummer but is easy to carry around. There are lots of good brands out there but I found myself wanting a Marshall for various reasons. Admittedly, this is very subjective. I went back and forth between the MG30 and the Code 25 but decided to go with simplicity over infinite menus, bluetooth, etc. The price is very reasonable. I think I made a good choice.

GIFTED Practice Amp

The unit was purchased as a birthday gift and very grateful. Is it affordable, that is up to the consumer, but not happy with overall sound. My biggest problem with this unit is the effects knobs are very difficult to control and tend to bleed through when I first power up the unit, even if they are set at the 0 position, and require resetting back to 0 position to disengage and then dialing back in the sound effect. This model does not have an effects loop and simply don't understand why not? I also have an acoustic A20 amp. and it has effects loop and XLR output features for less cost.

I replaced my Marshall DSL 40C with this MG30fx. It's legit a great Marshall amp, 100% Spend time to learn the sweet spots in each channel then add EQ, compression and noise reduction pedal in front for some extra goodness! I have the optional footswitch also, highest recommendation!

I bought mine Saturday. Plugged it in and it sounded great. Loved the features. Works perfectly in the apartment. Just can't get to loud there. I would definitely buy another Marshall.

This is only a 30 watt amp, so it is mainly meant to be used as a practice amp.
