This is a dynamite cab. I wondered about the Eminence AX-75 speakers before it arrived, because I'm used to Celestion, but the sound is everything I had hoped for. The cabinet comes with a 5 year parts/3 year labor warranty, and it arrived on time, and in one piece. The only thing I wished for was that Guitar Center had casters for it. Nope - they've quit carrying them. I ordered some that I hope will fit from Parts Express. They are not Marshall, but hopefully they'll stand up under use. This is a 300-watt cabinet, and I have it being fed by a Marshall MA100H (100 watt) tube amp. I'm definitely not worried about blowing the speakers. Needless to say, I'm happy as a Caribbean clam with this purchase, and intend to enjoy it for many years to come.

I got this cabinet in combination with a JCM2000 head as an early graduation present from my dad. It sounds BEASTLY. It has excellent volume and clarity, great tone, and is very stable. I haven't gotten into another band yet, but I'll definitely be much better off with this than the Marshall Valvestate 2x12 I had before. HUGE step up in sound and quality. If you're looking at your first stack, or maybe even a better cabinet than what you have, this is the best price/quality ratio you'll find.

I own this cabnit and ive used it with my JCM 900 Head and my MG FX 100 head. I use a Les Paul Studio and a Ibanez guitar straight through the head for Zep tunes and use a Metal Zone pedal for Metallica. This Cab shakes the windows and roof PLENTY of bottom end and volume, very clean sound and capability for any style you wont be disapointed, ive been playing for 30 yrs and this cab by itself or and with the straight cab kicks but, never had a problem with this Cab it can handle the volume. Go try for yourself. For club and garage use.
Don't cheap-out, get a 1960 cab

If you're just playing at home, or if you're the only guitar in the band, this will do well, but played side-by-side with a traditional Marshall (the ones with the white piping), it comes up short. The rhythm guitar player in my band has the same Marshall TSL head that I use, but he went for economy on the cabinet. His resulting tone isn't half of what it should be.
Sound great in the studio and on stage

I have both straight and the slanted MA412 Cabinets and they sound really great in the studio. No matter what head I choose to use, I always make sure im running it through these cabinets.when you dial in your tone it seems to hold and stay constant in different environments whether it be in the studio or on stage.I don't really have to change my eq settings too much when i record to keep my sound , and its the same on every stage I have played on for the past 10 years.the Marshall celestions really let you get your tone out there, which with other cabinets of different manufacturers I have noticed you can miss a harmonic, or a nuance that you just can't dial in ,and these cabinets defenetly do not hold you back like that in the aspect of tone and getting the most out of your tone. They are road worthy and stand up to years of touring, and you really get your moneys worth and then some with these cabinets.
