Maybe only for Micromark 601

I tried using this with the Markbass Micromark 801. I read other reviews elsewhere about it not doing much. I made sure that I used a speaker cable and tested with and without the tweeter. Once in a while I would hear some high pitched very short bursts, but it was not pleasant and generally could only hear light static. It was like it was not always connected. Then I tried it with a CD player. Ok, it functions, but the sound was harsh and it sounded better without it. Perhaps the 601 has a specific crossover because the 801 has a normal external cab output which sounds fine with my New York 121. Returned it. I wanted to believe it would help, but if you have anything but a Micromark 601, save your money.
