    I bought the pedal to maintain the same tonal sounds when I switch from playing with my fingers to using a pick. This is my 2nd EQ on my pedal board as I have another one for use when slapping. The EQ section is spot on and doesn't sound harsh when boosting over 4dB in the upper frequency's (1-4kHz). The Boost section is great. I did not buy this pedal for the boost, but the boost is an awesome feature n this pedal. It has lots of gain to offer, if needed
