Mapex VX 5-Piece Standard Drum Set Liquid Green Metallic Lacquer

The Mapex VX 5-Piece Standard Drum Set includes a matching maple and basswood shell snare drum. Toms include the non-penetrating Mapex off-the-shell ITS system. All VX drums are equipped with Remo drum heads.

VX Series kits also include a padded drummer's throne, double-braced hardware with memory locks, and an instructional DVD hosted by Mapex international clinician, Dom Famularo.

Every VX component is now finished with eight hand-rubbed coats of high-gloss lacquer. This unique finishing process gives the drum a beautifully deep, high gloss, protective shine.

Maple bass drum hoops are color-matched and secured via low profile claw hooks. Mapex's low mass lugs are secured to the shell via only one point of penetration. Fewer holes in the drum shell means less vibratory interruption, resulting in truer tone and unimpeded resonance.
