This Mapex 5-Piece Fusionease Drum Set is appointed with 6-ply, 100% maple shells that produce full-bodied, rich, low tones. Some of the main appointments include the Mapex I.T.S. Mounting System, with minimal drum contact for better tone, and tom holders with an extra position for a cymbal arm. This drum set also features a full set of double-braced stands and a solid kick drum pedal with a Tri-Tonal Beater.

Mapex is proud to present the Meridian Drum Series to their arsenal of world-class drums. Mapex is offering lighter-weight, and less bulky appointments with the Meridian Series drums. From tom holders, to lugs, to their tom mounting system, Mapex has rethought everything on this kit to bring a lighter, easier to set up, and more tour-friendly set to the market.

The drum shells feature Mapex's I.T.S. Mounting System that reinforces the commitment to less is more. The mount is compact while continuing to enhance drum response, by mounting to the lug casings for less drum shell contact. With Mapex I.T.S. drum mounts you also can change drumheads while the tom is still mounted to the tom holder.

The included tom holders are light with little bulk, offering a sleek look and a light overall load. They are corner-friendly double tom mounts with a third middle position for adding a cymbal arm (not included), to make for less tripod stands on the floor. These feature form-fitting memory locks, designed to fit the bottom contour of the drum mounting bracket for quick-and-easy drum set setup night after night without slipping.
