Maestro Invader Distortion Demo

Introducing the Maestro Original Collection

Description
The Maestro Invader Distortion guitar effects pedal clips your signal from a slight sizzle to over-the-top metal and hard rock tones. There's no conversion to ones and zeros here—the Invader is fully analog. And with intuitive controls, you'll find it easy to dial in the exact amount of distortion at any volume, suitable for bedrooms or big stages. Available now at Guitar Center, the Maestro Invader might just force its way into your pedalboard.

The Maestro Invader Distortion Pedal Is Easy to Use
You won't need to take a deep dive into the manual to start making music with the Invader. It has an intuitive, 3-knob layout. Use the Gain knob to increase the distortion for instant crunch and punch. Turn down the Tone for a fatter, darker sound, or rotate it the other way for searing solos. Level sets the overall output. Start at unity gain with your amp, then slowly increase it to find your harmonic sweet spot.

Built-in Noise Gate
No matter what pickups you play, cranking up the distortion can increase hiss and hum. Engage the noise gate with a simple flick of the switch. An internal trim pot lets you dial in the threshold to fine-tune the gate, letting as much—or as little—signal out. Or, turn the gate off completely for maximum sonic mayhem.

Keep Your Signal Clean
The Invader distortion effects pedal has a true-bypass switch that doesn't make a sound when you stomp it off and on. Three LEDs light up the Maestro logo when the distortion is engaged, a handy feature on a dark stage. To turn the pedal off completely, just unplug the input. The Maestro Invader runs on a 9V battery, or an optional 9V power supply.

Too much sizzle

Played this through a Fender Blues Jr. (Hot Rod) using a Squier classic vibe type of guitar with two humbuckers. The top end was just too fizzy for my taste. A bit overpriced if you ask me! There are a handful of pedals at a third of the cost that I'd choose over this one. But maybe it works for your rig! Probably sounds great on bass.
Great pedal!

I use this for my bass- and it gives a great sound, fits the distortion needs for me. The controls are good and give me the flexibility I wanted. Plus it looks cool!
