Needed a new sub so i opted for th SR18S and it delivers as promised. My second time out I thru my own fault i dropped it as i tripped over some unsettled carpeting maybe 12 inches from the floor. Built like a tank holds true! Sounds great too, may be buying a second for pairing 2!

The Mackie SR18S is a powered subwoofer, not a full-range speaker — so no, it cannot be used on its own as a keyboard amp.
