I'm NOT Disappointed!

Picked these up after I (finally) got back into listening to music the old fashioned way- vinyl. Works really well with my turntable and considering I have limited space, the size is perfect. Not audiophile level speakers, but performs admirably. Louder and sounds better than you'd think. If these speakers had Bluetooth capability, it would be a solid 5 stars, however....Recommended.

I really wanted to like them...

I eagerly bought these from Musician's Friend, really hoping to like them. My previous monitors only had unbalanced inputs. That said, the balanced option, ability to switch speaker position, and the physical appearance were all factors to this purchase. (I love that gold trim!) Unfortunately I was displeased to hear a constant static noise upon turning these speakers on. Neither a balanced or unbalanced connection seemed to help, and this was NOT an issue with m y previous monitors. That said, I was highly disappointed with the Mackie CRX-3's and returned them immediately. My previous speakers, btw, were Sterling MX3, and later purchased the PreSonus Eris E3.5. Both of these are much better alternatives in a similar price point.

I use these in my home studio and they provide an accurate representation of your mix. Crystal clear highs, balanced mids, and a full, well-rounded low end.

Got these for my brother in law for his computer. Really decent. Sound is balanced, ok bass. Sounds a lot better than those expensive computer speakers I listened to at the store.

I have rarely used these. I just wanted something to make mixes/watch videos on my pc. one speaker has completely stopped working in under 2 months and theyve been sitting in the same place. When I switch which speaker is the main one it works but won't work together. Waste of money

its a cool product i had it for two years now. my problem was i had a static issue in one tweeter. i replaced tweeter and it woked out great. the static is coming is from a loose wire on one of the connectors. you win some and lose some but i like them.

The icon or logo on bottom left side of speakers are both logos supposed to light up or just the powered speaker? I'm only seeing the powered speaker icon lit.
