MXR Sugar Drive & Classic 108 Fuzz Mini Guitar Pedals

MXR

collapse expand iconDescription

Now in an MXR mini housing, the M296 Classic 108 Fuzz mini effects pedal gives you all the same vintage fuzz tones in a much smaller footprint. Like its larger predecessor, it’s loaded with the silicon BC-108 transistor for a round and dirty crunch. This Classic 108 Fuzz also has the same no-nonsense control interface—just crank the Volume and Fuzz controls to your liking and start riffing. Use the Buffer switch on the side to make the fuzz play nice with wah pedals.

Compact, versatile fuzz! If you want that Hendrix sound, this will get you started, the rest is up to you!

This would make a great boost pedal. I think it could blow the speakers out of a lot of amps. Turning the fuzz near to the top gives a decent, but not overwhelming fuzz effect. Sounds OK, but no real range of fuzz sounds

This pedal works great with my rig. The fuzz is very articulate and I can push it by running an overdrive/distortion pedal into it. This allows me to shape the fuzz a little more (ex. Try maxing the volume and/or gain on the OD pedal and watch your fuzz soar). I really like it for leads or dirty riffs that need more than just distortion. Small footprint too.
