I don't like chorus pedals.....
I am impressed! I have been looking for a chorus pedal, because I needed one. I did not have an opportunity to try one, so I took a leap of faith....... I am glad I did! It has this thick, rich sound that is great clean. It enhances the sound in a way most chorus pedals don't. It makes my clean Strat sound big! Throw some distortion in front of it, and you have the sounds from the 80's! I use it with mostly clean tones in worship at my Church. MXR really came through with this pedal!!!! It's very easy to get a great sound out of it, and it does not take up much space on my pedal board either!

Meh
This pedal isn't terrible, but like others have said, it does add a bit of white noise to your signal. I would've kept it, but it was way too subtle for my liking. It does add a bit of chorus to your sound, but for me it just wasn't enough. I felt like it needed another knob, like level or depth. There are better options out there, and at similar price points, so I wouldn't recommend this one.

Saw a video on YouTube with this pedal used on bass. I decided that I had to get one. This pedal provides the chorus tone & range of speed I've been looking for. Settings between 12 & 2 o'clock sound the best to me. Some choruses get way too "springy" for me. I like the range of the rate knob on this pedal. Couldn't be any easier to use. Some might not like the lack of a Depth knob, but that doesn't bother me at all. Mine is NOT noisy but I don't use many effects on bass. Well built pedal. I'm not super tough on pedals so this oughta last me for about 99 years. For the price, this is tough to beat for getting a good chorus effect on bass.
Sometimes I find myself in the middle of nowhere

"You don't always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go and see what happens." -Mandy Hale I took this quote to heart when I purchased this pedal. Especially since I bought it used and in the worst condition available. The shining color of the stars was the first thing that dazzled my eyes and my pleasureful interest. Like most things in my life, having a single knob is the best thing this pedal has going for it, despite it's sound. I'll never forget the first time I plugged this little devil in and plugged in my amp and turned on my guitar. A burst of wonder rammed my ears. My head was bent over and rammed with a thick pleasuring sound of micro chorus. I immediately fell to the ground and let out a roar of amusement. I thought to myself "Its been years since I've pleasured so intensely". I find I can't handle this little mine of destruction every night. I have to use it in small doses otherwise I tend to suffer from tremendously bad trips. It was so bad that I came back to school after using it in a men's stall and everybody had turned to dinosaurs and I had to leave and find my one turkish black sword that I could have sworn I had left at the White House. On a concluding note, this pedal basically handed me a bucket of dynamite and told me to run into an apartment complex on fire to save a kitten on the sixth floor.

I do an amplified acoustic/vocal and needed more color. I don't have time for nor care to be an engineer between tunes. This box does exactly what I wanted, more color, an effect that's very subtle but noticeable and expands my range of material by adding fullness where I would otherwise have holes. Plus ease of operation.
