Great mic for the (sale) price

I got this mic on sale for $20. As such, I am extremely happy with it. I use it in a garage band setting, and I have not had any feedback issues with it. At its full price of $99, I'd probably go with another mic, but it's still very good. The included mic clip comes with a removable 3/8" adapter. Maybe that's why another reviewer thought it wouldn't work with his stand. You have to remove the adapter, but it does attach to 5/8" mounts as well.
A steal at $20.00

Great value at $20.00. At $100 their are better choices. Good sounding, built well, High Output. I should have bought more when they were on sale. Just be careful for popping. A wind screen will help some.
Good basic mic

Good basic mic. At full price I'd give it 3 stars but for $20 on flash sale, it's definitely worth 5. Included clip's threaded stem was too small for our mic stand.
Great mic for the money

I picked up this mic at the sale price and was pleasantly surprised. It is a hot mic as the other reviewers have said. It also has a full range sound when compared to my more expensive Sennheiser. I would recommend this mic.
Great mic except for popping...

These are great mics for the money. I just wish MXL would fix the internal pop filter in the grill. As long as the singer or speaker is not too close or breathy you'll be ok. Very high output mic - higher even than my Shure Beta 58. Very well constructed. GC had them for $20 each during a sale so I bought three.
Regret Not Buying More of Them

Like the other guys reviewing this mic, I grabbed it during a Flash sale for $19. I didn't bother trying it out...wish I would have. My thought process was that for $19, if it's no good, it'd end up downstairs in the practice room. The reason I wish I would have tried it out in the store is I would have bought out the inventory at that price. By the time I checked it out and home and realized what a great mic this was, the flash sale was over and they were back to $99. I got to say, they are worth $99 but since I'm not "in need" of any music gear really, I just purchase when a deal is too good to pass up. Catch these on sale again, and I'm buying at least 5 more.
