    I scooped an MXL that was a guitar center daily deal. It was a great deal for a decent mic but wanted a shock mount for it. This was the only shock mount I could find that would fit and it is a little disappointing. Feels much cheaper than the one I got included with an audio technica mic I already own. Price dramatically outweighs value of product in my opinion.

    An MXL57 shockmount was included with my MXL V63M mic, and I love it! It?s durable, fits my mic perfectly, and eliminates unwanted noises from entering the mic via the mic stand. The MXL57 easily screws onto the threaded end of a mic stand or boom. This is a must for recording applications; and I definitely would?ve purchased this separately, had it not been included in the mic package.
