Modern Rock and Metal Tones Galore!

I'm a long time user of Mesa Boogie amps, but I also love my Marshall, Engl, Orange, and Vox amps... just to give some background that I'm not just a Mesa fanboy. To my ears, the Bandlander delivers all the aggression and searing tone of the original Rectifier series, but without the flub and mush. I don't need an overdrive to tighten things ups; it's already tight. As tight as a Mark? Not quite, but plenty punchy for most modern hard rock and metalcore tones and WAY easier to dial in what you want to hear. With an overdrive, you can cover anything. The IR direct out is a huge plus, too. I find myself taking this to all my recent shows given how light it is, loud it is, and how easy it is to dial in killer tones for any room. The only thing it's not great at is edge of breakup tones, but outside of that, it covers a lot of tonal territory. It has all the Mesa build quality, too; it looks and feel like it's going to last forever.
Absolutely love this amp!
