MEINL Sonic Energy 16" Engraved Octave Steel Tongue Drum, Black

The MEINL Sonic Energy Octave steel tongue drum is made of high-quality stainless steel. It has a central bass note in the middle, plus eight more notes around it that consist of two reeds each to deliver the tone in two octaves. This creates a wonderful, meditative sound similar to the tone of a handpan. At the bottom of the drum you will find the soundhole, which can be closed with a silicone plug to make the sound even more compact. There are also three silicone feet at the bottom to keep the drum from slipping. You can play the Octave steel tongue drum with mallets or with your fingers. Just place it on a plain surface or on your lap to start playing. The drum includes two wooden mallets with rubber head, and a nice carrying bag with zipper and handle.
