Good Stand

Nice and sturdy stand. Played 1st gig and it performed well. The only drawback is that the strap could be longer and have a longer Velcro area. It was difficult to adjust to my size djembe and it may not fit all sizes. It advertises that it fits most djembes. It should've been easy for them to have a strap length that would accommodate that claim
Very good stand, except one thing

I originally bought the Gibraltar stand which was difficult to set up, extremely heavy, and did not fit my Pearl Elite djembe very well. I returned it and bought the Meinl. It's easy to set up and the velcro attachment method helps for a better fit. It's lighter in weight but plenty sturdy. The main knock on the Meinl is that it allows the drum to move around a little when you hit it whereas the Gibraltar was rock steady. If I was a pro that would be significant, but I'm not. Because my drum barely fit the Gibraltar and because the stand was so heavy, whenever someone would try to move it, the drum would fall out. Not worth the risk. The Meinl doesn't hold the drum perfectly still but I feel my drum is far safer in it and also easier to transport. The perfect stand has yet to be built, but this is the best I could find.
I would buy this product again

I have actually bought two of these over the past year. although the height and weight of this product is perfect and it is easy to use, both have broken on me in the middle of shows right on the main tighting and adjusting key. I play really aggresive and with high energy so this might be good for players that dont beat on there djembe so hard but not a good buy if you have a heavy hand.
