Description

Didgeridoos are among the oldest wind instruments in the world, and this MEINL didgeridoo gives you the same distinctive drone with harmonic overtones that has been part of the Aboriginal culture for hundreds of years. The unique sound of a didgeridoo goes great with all kinds of percussion. Made from bamboo, this model features traditional artwork and a red finish. It measures 47" long.

    I practice with this piece and it has helped alot but I've had it less than a month and have never mishandled it and out of nowhere a crack has formed from the middle of the piece to the top and another one from the middle splitting all the way through and about a quarter of the way down the instrument.

    Do you need a beeswax mouthpiece for this?

    You don't "need" one. There is no right or wrong when it comes to mouthpieces on a didgeridoo. Some didgeridoos can be played and keep a seal without beeswax. Beeswax mouthpieces are used on didgeridoos so that you can have a comfortable seal that connects your mouth to the didgeridoo.

    It's to the traditional specs, and it's an actual digeridoo but it's made in Indonesia.
