I use this in the stripped down set up of my kit as my ride and while it wouldn't be my first choice of crash in my full set up it will most definitely work as one when/if you have limited space.
Good ride cymbal...not a good crash.

I'm really getting tired of companies advertising certain cymbals as "crash/rides". The truth is 95% a cymbal is either a good crash or a good ride but almost never both. This cymbal is being returned today for that reason.
