MEINL

Description

Living up to their name, Meinl's Extra Dry Series cymbals are extremely dry, with low-pitched, trashy sounds and short sustain. The raw unlathed surfaces and extensive hand hammering suggest that their sound might be loud and fierce. In reality, the Extra Dry series reveals its dark, earthy tones and comes to life when played at lower volumes.

This Extra Dry Dual Splash offers fast and sensitive response with a very short decay. The cymbal produces extremely crisp and trashy sounds with cutting overtones and a unique dual-surface appearance.

This is one of the coolest looking and best sounding cymbals I have ever been in contact with and it is really fun to play.

This is easily one of my favorite cymbals I've ever played and owned. It's a perfect splash that can be used for many things. I use it for quick accents and when I want a splash sound that doesn't sound too bright. It's quick, trashy and feels like butter when you hit it. I love the dryness of it too, hence why it's labeled as an extra dry splash. It has a mini china sound to it which I personally love! I would highly recommend this splash to anyone, because it can be used in any setting. It has the perfect volume for a 10' splash, and it fits my taste perfectly! Definitely go out and get this! It's definitely worth the money.
