I've bought two Luna models and suggested them to my students and not one was flawed. They are all beautifully made with obvious care to finishing. The machines are sturdy and don't slip. The tone is sweet and not toy-like at all. This is a great Uke for students and pros. I have used Luna Ukes in the studio and the record well. Sweet sound! Its the perfect price point too.

disappointing color

I was very disappointed that the color of the body was remarkably different from the color of the head when looking at the uke from the front. The body is darker than expected from the pictures and the head is a much lighter stain. I bought on line and when I returned with it to the store the staff told me that it was not worth returning it since all ukes of this model would look the same. It is the first thing i noticed when I removed it from the box and I`m sure it will be the first thing folks notice when I play it for them. If there is any chance of getting a closer wood match with a different uke (same model) then an exchange would make me happy. Please let me know if anything can be done. Thank you.
not worth the money

The ukulele has a beautiful sound, but it is very fragile. i've only had mine for three months and already the glue is coming undone and part of the peace sign snapped off. ive had cheaper ukuleles go through much more than my luna and they are still perfectly intact. like i stated, she has a great sound, but im not so sure its worth the money.
