Best guitar in its price range.

I got this guitar a few weeks ago used at GC and I have to say I am impressed with how well this guitar plays. i have been playing for about 10 to 11 years now and have had some vintage guitars as well as cheap swap meet guitars. If you are a budget guitarist and in need of a great sounding guitar without having to spend that big amount of money. Then this guitar is what you want. I got lucky because mine was installed with a pickup, but even when I just pick it up and play it sounds as good as my buddies yamaha CPX 500ii both plugged in and straight acoustic. the neck is perfect on this guitar making it really easy to hit those harder chords. I had to lower the action down a bit but that is only because I am used to having incredibly low action. If you play in like drop C or in DADGAD tuning like I do get yourself some light strings because I have a set of martin 12's on here and they sometimes buzz too much. also i wish it had actual tuners then just die cast ones. they hold tune though don't get me wrong it just that if you are gonna make a guitar that looks this good, spent the extra couple bucks and get some proper tuners. all in all though this guitar is the best 6 string in its price range.

Birthday Present

Bought one of these for my son's 16th birthday. For a guitar at this price point, It has excellent fretting, the keyboard is very comfortable, and the sound quality is unmatched. This guitar performs acoustically as well as guitar models at twice the price. Electronically the jury is still out-- seems to have good sound and a suprising punch (without hollow mid tones) but there is a krackle/hiss above half volume, may just have a faulty volume pot or weak battery connection. We are returning this one and will be checking the electronics on the others in stock. If we weren't having issues this would be 5 stars. Excellent for beginners and hobbiest that wish to have a quality sound and fret but wish to stay on budget.

This is my dream guitar and I got it for Christmas! The sound quality is great and it's so much fun to play. I use this guitar more than my Ovation. I use it to practice and play at my church for worship. But, the only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 stars is because one of the pegs broke when I got it. I did, however, got it fixed at guitar center in jiffy (and at no charge).

I've been playing for over 30 years, I own a Martin, and I wanted a "cheap" guitar for the beach, camping, whatever...I was AMAZED at the quality and sound out of this "cheap" guitar!! Right out of the box, no adjustments...fantastic! It's actually prettier than my $1400 Martin. although, obviously, the sound is very different. Still, great tone in this Luna, I couldn't be more satisfied.

Really beautiful, and surprisingly good quality! Very heavily urethaned, which adds weight...As a player for over 30 years, I wanted a "cheap' guitar I could take to the beach, camping, etc..., and I am really very pleased with this little gem!

  • Outstanding price, very playable, great tone

Not only is the price great, the GUITAR is great! Glad I picked one up at this price. It also is an acoustic/electric, (at least the one I picked up) and the photos here do not show that. I have Fender, Washburn, Martin, and a few others, and this Luna still sounds and plays as good or better. Still amazed at the looks, feel, tone, ease, all in this package. And sexy.... what a sexy music maker!
