Good buy, but it needs some work

It looks great. It feels great. However, low e & high e buzz on the 1st fret. So, it needs some work. It's a simple fix; just should have been done where it was built.
Banjitar was literally unplayable

When i picked it up it looked great. It comes with the bridge uninstalled to prevent damagiing during shipment. When the techs at guitar center went to put the bridge on, it wasn't tall enough to get the high e and b to clear the fret board causing those strings to buzz. So we returned it and they ordered me another one, but when the second one came in we had the exact same problem. Unplayable

This is a good buy if you want a 6-string banjo with a little more quality than a Dean or Rogue banjo/guitar. Is it as good as the Deering B-6...no but it's two thousand dollars less and much lighter. If you are just experimenting with a 6 string banjo and want a little more quality...this is a good choice.

Could this banjo have an armrest put on it?
I’m sorry, I don’t know. You probably can. In a case like this we recommend having a qualified tech look at the instrument.submitted3 years ago
