How how to install it?
Installing a Ludwig Multi-Angle Carrying Bar (often used with marching percussion gear like snare drums, tenors, or bass drums) depends on your specific drum and harness model, but here's a general guide to get you started: nstallation Steps: Unbox & Identify Parts- Lay out the carrying bar and check for any included mounting hardware (bolts, washers, spacers, etc.). Locate Mounting Points On most Ludwig drums, there are pre-drilled lug mounting holes for attaching carriers. These are usually located on the side facing the player, near the top of the shell. Remove Any Existing Hardware. If there’s a straight carrier bar or old mount, remove it using a drum key or wrench. Position the Multi-Angle Bar. Place the multi-angle bar in line with the mounting holes. Adjust the angle of the bar so that it will match the tilt you want when wearing the drum. Attach the Bar. Use the included bolts to secure the bar to the drum. If there are no bolts included, reuse the ones from the previous mount (or use compatible ones). Don’t overtighten—you want it snug, but not stripping the threads. Adjust the Angle. Loosen the angle adjustment screws (typically Allen bolts). Tilt the bar to the desired playing angle and tighten it down. Test Fit with Harness. Hook up your carrier to the new bar and test it while wearing. Make sure the drum sits comfortably, balanced, and doesn’t twist. Final Check. March around a bit or move naturally to make sure everything is stable and doesn’t shift. Re-tighten anything that feels loose after testing.
