Originally intended as an inexpensive drum for educational purposes in the golden era of the '60s, the Ludwig Acrolite snare drum is a classic piece of the Ludwig product lineup. This new age and limited edition version of the drum features a classic brushed Aluminum shell with matching brushed 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops, classic bowtie lugs, P-85 strainer, milled center bead and Blue/Olive Badge. The drum offers a warm and dry tone, but provides a generous cut for variation with tuning and heads.
