Lucida

collapse expand iconDescription

The Lucida Requinto is a traditional mariachi instrument with a sound that's similar to a classical guitar, but higher pitched, and with a traditional body style. The Requinto plays lead in mariachi bands, and is often used to form the "trio romantico," a traditional folkloric style of mariachi music.

The Lucida Requinto features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a rosewood bridge and fretboard, a multi-colored inlaid rosette, 3-ply body binding, brass frets and a 2-piece mahogany neck. The guitar has a soft cutaway design and features a solid top for rich tone.
