Great, amp for the money.

This amp rocks! it gets really loud, when I tried it in store with two marshal 100 watt JCM100 heads, and some vox wah, it got really loud at the volume at 3! I had to turn in down. If you are going on tour, than this amp is great. with two of these, all driven by 1, or 2 heads it can get loud enough to blow away the other players (big bands be warned!) it will last 3 or 4 years if you treat it nice I heard, just great for the money.

Uhm...

Ive had this cab for about 2 years now. It was my first half stack with the spider IV head. At the time being I didn't know much about tone, or quality but now... All I can say is its a decent amp to begin with, but if you want a good sound and tone this is not the cab for you. I now have a Spider Valve HD II and the head itself is pretty good if you work with the settings (Saving up to get a 6505+ though) but the head running through this cab definitely not. Save up an extra 400 and get the Spider Valve 412VS

I paired this with my 20w Orange Micro Dark amp. It sounds absolutely perfect for practicing in my small apartment in the city. My little amp can definitely keep up and shake the entire building with this cab if Im feeling extra metal. The low end is nice and clear, the crunch is nice and tight. I don't get any crackling at high volumes. If you're looking for a decent at home setup on a budget that's a little better than what a small amp can give you, then this is your amp.

I just got this amp used but its in like new shape. So far it sounds great with my B-52 AT100. Cleans sparkle through it and the crunch sounds like a monster. Gets loud fast! Seems to be able to handle volume at high levels. Playing a show this Friday with it, guess that will be the real test. But again, sounds sweet so far.

1st test in store. Played through the Marshall MG412 as well as the line6 300watt. 2nd test in store. Played through Marshall 1960 as well as the Line 6 spider iv 320watt simutanisouly with Orange tube head at 100 watts. The Line six was most versatile for different tones. Being a Marshall supporter I still purchased the Line6 spider iv 320 watt 4x12. At home I installed it with a Quilter pb200 and it blows my mind what I have created. Doesn't get any better with my pedal tones and the balls to back it up for less than 400.00 for the cabinet.

  • Sound great with Bugera 55 HD

Been playing for over 30 years. Don't really gig now. I have 11 guitars and only two amps. The Bugera with this cab and the limited Crate Palomino. Both sound outstanding. I'll play this cab until It don't play no more.
