Awsome Little Amp
I have heard great things about Line 6 Amps, I got the SE in red and I couldn't be more happier with the purchase of this little GEM of an Amp. I'm using it to play with my Jackson JS22 Dinky and man this little amp rocks, I love the FX and the Amp models pre sets. I'm not a rock star but for the money it's well worth it.

I would avoid if you can
I had already been playing acoustic guitar for about 9 months before I went to get my first electric guitar and amp. I had already had my heart set on a Fender Champion 20 but when the worker asked me what kind of music I would be playing (metal) he recommended me this. Of course it was $20 more expensive and I should have probably caught that he was just trying to get more money out of me, but I trusted him. I got it, took it home, and of course the FIRST NIGHT it was already having issues. First off, and this has been a reoccurring problem which has been quite infuriating to be honest, at random times for no reason at all there will be what sounds like an electric shock sound coming out of the amp. It's extremely loud too and happens at random and is very infuriating. I tried looking up this problem and have found nothing about it. Second, it likes to reset my amp settings when I turn it off and on. And for some reason every time I switch to the clean channel it automatically has on the 'Phaser' setting, even though I don't have the knob on that setting. I have to end up moving each and every knob back and forth a few times to get it to it's original setting each time I change the channel or turn it off and on. That being said, it's not the worst thing in the world. The sound quality isn't terrible and the distortion is pretty good. It also has more settings than some other amps I was looking at (The fender didn't even have mids, this does). It's also quite portable which is useful to me as I play in a small church band and need to take it too and fro every week. It can also get quite loud, (sometimes too loud as the Master volume control is VERY touchy). Bottom line, avoid this amp if you can. It may be that I'm the only one with these problems, but still I'd go for something else.

My first amp. A little frustrating, few instructions, resets when you change from sound to sound. However, it may be operator error. I still think it sounds great for the money!
I hope I win it
