Line 6

Description

The Line 6 Relay G90 digital wireless system provides a pure signal so guitars get a beautiful high-end sparkle and basses get a thunderous low-end punch, even at distances of up to 300 feet. The signal's clarity rivals that of the highest-quality guitar cables. Unlike traditional wireless systems, this system offers superior sound with full bandwidth and zero compression.

Not only does the Relay G90 wireless system sounds just you're using a direct cable, but it can also sound just like the cable you would normally use. It features EQ settings to match the frequency response of your guitar cable, so you can switch between the Relay G90 and your cable without having to change the settings on your sound amp. Different players use different cables, but all players can use the Line 6 Relay G90.

Professional Dependability
The Relay G90 wireless mic system broadcasts its robust signal over the 2.4gHz band. This keeps the signal free from many kinds of interference. For added security, it employs exclusive signal protection technology. Each of its channels broadcasts an encrypted data over four different frequencies simultaneously. Traditional wireless mic systems, on the other hand, broadcast over congested UHF bands, so their signals can be susceptible to interference generated as far away as 100 miles or more.

Refreshing Simplicity
The Relay G90 is easy to use. Bright LCDs and LEDs on the transmitter and receiver display all critical system functions, including power, status, channel number, battery life and more. Plus, it finds open channels right out of the box.

The wireless instrument system includes transmitter, 1RU rackmountable receiver, and all necessary accessories including antennas, guitar cable, power supply and batteries.

absolutley amazing! anyone who is looking at this relay series should def not hesitate to pick one up. i got it in the mail today and played for nearly two hours. no loss of tone or clarity at all like u would get with other cheap models. the cable model feature is a great thing to have especially for bigger gigs. i noticed this when i walked to the third story of my house where the amp was in the basement and the setting was on 15 foot, a little delayed but nothing too bad. i just went to the basement and changed the length model and bam no problems. amazing product and if your like me and play out with thousands of dollars of equipment, u dont wanna cheap out on a wireless and have your rig sound like junk. all metal, tough construction, this thing will last as i would expect from line 6, great system

I found that the sound quality is excellent but the transmitter is not very good. The batteries fell out easily and the cable falls out as well. I had it fail the first time I used it. I used a Nady system years ago and while the quality of the sound was not very good, they could sure build a transmitter!

This actually had been the best sounding wireless system I've ever used however, out of the blue the signal would drop out every now and then. I thought it was my cable into my pack was going bad. That's usually the first to go. It was not the case. I changed the cable and it still would drop out. Come to find out it's a hardware issue and now I have to mail in my unit to get it fixed. Pretty frustrating to say the least

I play in a top 40 country band that does mostly professional gigs at fairs and festivals. This worked and worked well. I used this on probably 25-30 gigs so far. The only time I've had an issue is twice I would have signal drop outs. I noticed that this happened when the front of house is using an iPad type wireless mixer. I do not know it that was even the reason why. I simply changed channels and problem was solved. The only real complaints I have is the cable. Its fine but I prefer an angled plug. I I ordered one off Feebay from a company that makes them to custom lengths. The body pack is also made from metal instead of the usual plastic. This provides durability. The downside is, the body pack will scratch easily. So it wont break easy, but it will look abused if not taken care of. All and all, I can imagine a better system at any price.

Line 6's Relay systems are known for their value. The G90 is the pinnacle of the series. Conveniently rack-mounted and rear routed so there don't have to be any exposed cables, this thing is awesome. As others have mentioned, the transmitter feels very sturdy in its metal housing, especially compared to other transmitters. The best part is how great your guitar sounds. I run my G90 to an Axe FX 2 and it honestly doesn't alter my tone at all going from cable to wireless, even on my cleanest patches. If you can't afford it, stay within the Relay series, because they are great systems. If you can afford it, get it. You won't be dissatisfied with the quality you get.

Been looking to get a new generation, digital wireless for some time. My main criteria was quality/sturdy construction, size (I wanted a single rack space unit, not a little half space) and obviously no difference in sound between being corded and wireless. I got what I wanted with this system. Disregard any old reviews about flimsy construction. Both the receiver AND transmitter are metal now. Really solid. A piece of cake to install and fire up. I literally had it out of the box, installed in my rack and was playing through it in under 15 minutes. Sounded like I was plugged in with my Monster Bass cable. I am so glad I went with this system.

My profession is as a Wireless Telecommunications Engineer. The RF side of this wireless is outstanding. The noise immunity is excellent. Audio quality is superb. There is NO low end roll off. The channel scan feature for finding a clear channel is sweet. I've read reviews saying the transmitter is poor quality, the batteries and the plug fall out easily. All I can say is that if they do, it appears to be from operator error. This unit is solid and well engineered. The batteries do come out easily, if you press the battery release. The plug lock is quite solid. I was skeptical about spending this much on a wireless. Having gigged it out over a dozen times, I'm glad I did.... My only complaint (and it's trivial) is that there isn't an audio output jack on the front panel. Then a short pigtail could be used to connect to the input jack on my bass head instead of a longer cable coming out of the back of my rack to the front of the head. Like I said, trivial....

Hi , I purchased my Line 6 Relay G90 from Guitar Center online on 7/1/18. It makes a very loud "buzzing ' noise from the both the "main ' and 'aux' outputs. I did not purchase 'pro coverage'....I don't expect there is still a warranty? Is there anything that you can suggest can be done to either repair or replace this unit? Thank You!

Line 6 has a 1 year warranty on their products, but if you reach out to them they can find a local facility that can handle the repair of the item.
