This flagship multi-effects processor offers a newly updated firmware with additional amps, cabs, effects and features, as well as an easy to navigate interface via its large LCD screen, encoders and footswitches. You can now find the POD Go at Guitar Center.
New Firmware Provides Even More Tones and Control
The POD Go Firmware 1.3 update provides six new amp models, including the Mandarin Rocker based on the Orange Rockerverb 100 MKIII, as well as new mono and stereo Rat and tape delay effects. Additional features include the ability to save user amp, cab and effect settings as defaults, name and color code Snapshots and access external footswitch options. With this update, the POD Go offers an unparalleled selection of tones and flexibility.
Essential Connections for Any Setup
Despite its grab-and-go size, the POD Go includes all the connections needed for any playing situation. It features stereo outs, a duplicate amp out that can tap the signal pre-cabinet, stereo effects loop, headphone jack and a 4-in/4-out USB audio interface with re-amping. The POD Go seamlessly integrates into any guitar rig for playing live, recording in the studio or jamming at home.
Full Customization Through Third-Party IRs and Snapshots
The POD Go supports loading third-party IRs, allowing you to customize your tone with different speaker cab options. It also includes sophisticated Snapshots that make it easy to save and access different tones for each part of a song. Name and color code your Snapshots to create an intuitive workflow for live playing or in the studio.
Ultraportable Design
Weighing under 6 lb., the POD Go features an ultraportable, cast aluminum design that's built to last. It's easy to grab and take anywhere for playing or recording. Despite its small size, the POD Go delivers the same tones and features as the flagship Helix family in a convenient, road-ready package.

DO not let the size of this powerhouse fool you
I upgraded to this from Zoom G3XN (which is also an AMAZING option btw, just not as many bells and whistles) and even though it's decently big, its small for a pedal (G3XN is smaller even though it also has expression pedal). The screen is vivid and pleasantly colorful, as are the bold stomp lights. The appearance is fairly simple and sleek but it comes to life when you turn it on. While it's not the overloaded beastly tank Helix, it has the same (more actually) effects and amps, with the identical top-of-the-line sound quality (Zoom is basically the same in sound quality, but POD GO has nearly double the effects of G3 and G5) One of the reasons I upgraded from Zoom is because G3 only can hold 7 effect slots and G5 9 slots, the POD GO (and I couldn't find this stat anywhere online except the owners manual) can do both volume and wah, full amp, cabinet, and equalizer PLUS four more of your choice (distortion, drive, dynamics, filters, modulations, delays, reverbs, pitch, looper, and more eq) so that was a selling point. The snapshots feature is EXTREMELY helpful, so you don't have to make 5 different presents for similar sounds like I had to with zoom. Also I really loved the factory presets, some were based on Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, the Police, and U2 to name a few, So bottom line positive wise the sound quality is ridiculously good (the best!), it has a colorful, clear, intuitive interface with loads and loads of options, the expression pedal is great (better than zoom), the effect and amp and cabinet choices are overwhelming, and the online apps editor and ir loader works great. The cons are few but I'll still go over them. The firmware was version 1.01 out of the box so I had to update it to 1.12 with the pod go edit app, but it took no time. I am disappointed that you can't Program more amps and such into it with the app, and downloadable community presets for the pod go are few and lacking. But it was worth every penny.

Sounds good. Could have better mic placement parameters
Before buying the Pod Go, had the 500X for a few years. Transitioning from the two is not easy. Am very old school in regards to simplicity so I thought to try this out as I fit the bill for plug and play. There's too much to comment in this box that exceed it's limit. A lot of IR pedals and modelers on the market allow placing mic's on certain parameters as the Pod Go can control distance. If you're a traditional pedals individual interested in modeling for a solid price, consider buying a used Pod HD500X and pairing with an IR pedal (Mooer Radar, two notes torpedo etc). Would cost about the same overall. It's not helix models but allows you to place 10 blocks and effects anywhere you want. Downfall is the IR's lack big time (unit released in 2013). Parallel paths are possible and there's a lot of tutorials on the unit to get you going. Pod Go is a great size and packs a punch but would suggest to wait until a second edition with possibilities of microphone capabilities. Tbh, I've had the unit a short time and still learning but had to take steps backwards to move forward. If you had great mic axis's there's no need for an EQ.

I bought this to have a small footprint but powerful pedalboard for a gig I'm prepping for. It's a Phil Collins tribute show. I've found more than all the sounds I could possibly need and programming was fairly simple and straight forward especially while programming the unit while connected to my laptop with the included app. Good stuff. If this unit is in your budget you can't go wrong.

I was debating between a Stomp and this. After researching for hours and finding out that the sounds are the same I decided to go with this one. Some of the limitations can be fixed and you can definitely turn this into a powerhouse (especially with IRs!)
I would buy this product again and highly recommend it!

This is perfect for praise & worship or any live set or rehearsal! The size is ideal and quick & easy from one place to another. It has a built-in pre-amp that make it great for practicing and sending your signal to the sound stage. It is packed with a huge bank of amplifiers, cabinets and effects! Just like the Helix! It does take time to dial in your sound. The editing software is readily available and is the best way to adjust all the sounds. There are many patches available on YouTube, some are free, but most artist want to sell them. It would be great if there were already a few sent up for a variety of Genres that were really good. The ones on the box are not. And it does take a lot of time to dial in but is worth it!

I recently joined a Classic Rock band that has a 'no amps' policy. After struggling to get the sounds I wanted with my pedalboard and IR, I decided to give the Pod Go a try. Lots of online resources, and in a very short time I was able to create severale usable presets that deliver all the basic sounds I need. FX loop allows the use of analog pedals for even more sounds without having to change the bank/selection. Recommended for anyone new to modeling and/or someone who doesn't need a ton of FX in the sgnal path to achieve sounds. Only downside I had was the large, heavy wall wart power supply, with a thin DC cable that wasn't long enough to plug into an outlet without an extension of some kind. 9V dc and 3A required to power reliably. Ended up using a power converter and a large-capacity PD rechargable power supply.

I had been considering this for a few months now and was able to snag it when it was on sale. This thing has some great sounds and there are plenty of nice patches from others available.

I play traditional gospel and quartet. This pedal board can do it. I like how I can bring different sounds to my playing. I have it connected to a fender champion 100 and I feel that it has brought my playing to life. I like learning and tweaking things so I accept the challenge of learning this board. It has a couple presets that are available for plug and play IF you like the tones. Otherwise you'll have to tweak it to your liking. I come from a traditional pedal board with 5-6 pedals but was looking for a more diverse sound. This accomplished my goal.
