collapse expand iconDescription

The Line 6 Helix LT guitar processor is a powerful and intuitive multi-effects pedalboard packed with over 300 amps, cabs, and effects modeled from world-class gear. This premium processor puts a vast tonal palette at your fingertips to inspire new creative directions for your playing. The Helix LT features the same high-quality modeling found in the flagship Helix Rack and Helix Floor processors, distilled into a streamlined and gig-ready stompbox form factor.

Massive Tonal Possibilities in a Stompbox-Sized Unit

Despite its compact size, the Helix LT offers over 300 amps, cabs and effects derived from real-world gear to shape your tone. It covers all the amplifiers, cabinets and effects you'd ever want, from vintage classics to modern powerhouses. Select amp and cab pairings, add your choice of studio-quality effects, tweak essential parameters, and save the results as presets you can call up instantly during a performance.

Intuitive Interface and Workflow

The Helix LT features a simple yet powerful interface with a large 6.2" LCD display and hands-on encoders for the most intuitive experience. Build presets from scratch or start from templates, tweak settings on the fly and instantly recall saved sounds, all without scrolling through complex menus. The Helix LT offers a fast, creative workflow for crafting and experimenting with new tones on stage or in the studio.

Premium I/O and Signal Routing

The Helix LT offers high-quality ins and outs for integration into any guitar rig. It features dual inputs, XLR and 1/4" outs, MIDI I/O, an FX loop, and USB. The Helix LT also provides powerful signal routing, allowing you to use amp and effects models in any order, and in series or parallel. Craft complex signal chains with ease and switch between them instantly with the footswitches or an external MIDI controller.

Road-Ready and Built to Last

The die-cast aluminum chassis of the Helix LT is built to handle the abuses of touring while keeping things lightweight. It features a rugged yet compact design, large backlit footswitches, and a high-contrast LCD display that's easy to read on dark stages. The Helix LT is a premium multi-effects unit ready to take your tone and creativity to new heights, gig after gig.

WOW

I have owned more Line 6 products then I can remember. Spider 1, Flextone, Spider Value Mk2, M9, POD, Amplifi 75, Firehawk FX and now the Helix LT. I know I'm forgetting some but you get the point. Now I have only scratched the surface of what this thing can do but all I can say is WOW. After about an hour playing with the interface and figuring the unit out I was hooked. Line 6 has been nailing the effects for a long time and it looks like they figured out the amps too. The modeling is STUPID GOOD. It sounds and feels like I'm playing a real amp. I A/Bed my 5150 to the helix 5150 model. The real amp won in my opinion however the Helix was just as good. Shelling out a grand for this wasn't in my budget so I traded in a nice tube amp, firehawk fx and some other pedals and walked away paying nothing. Now I got the best of all worlds. My amazing 5150 and compact pedalboard and my Helix which has every other amp and effect I'd ever want. I also want to point out that the headphone out is great. Most units phone out is pretty aweful but this sounds the same through my headphones, monitors and with my amp (4 cable method). Anyone who has a family will appreciate this more then I can describe. If you are on the fence do yourself a favor and just buy it. You have 45 days to play with it and if you don't like it (which is unlikely) you can return it. But beware, all you'll want to do for days and weeks after you get it is play. Hopefully you have an understanding family and they don't get to mad when your missing for weeks!

TRY OUT THE HEADRUSH PEDALBOARD

Tried the Headrush pedalboard against all the others, helix, fractal and axe. Seems to me the touchscreen on the Headrush, ease of use (in part because of the touchscreen, less knobs and way less menu diving, price, available speakers by Headrush specifically made for the Headrush board that also don't break the bank and overall sound quality beats them all. If you want more effects that you realistically will never use in the real world,(kinda like a high luxury priced car with a bunch of extra gimmicks that never get actually used after you buy it!) the helix and the rest etc might impress you, but the headrush just plain sounds better and headrush is always releasing new updates for it and is a lot more practical and FUN to actually use, you'll spend more time playing with the Headrush pedalboard vs. tweaking and menu-diving on the other brands.

You already know what this is and isn't. If you're looking at it as a full on amp replacement, don't. If you're looking at it as a solid device for situations where an amp is not allowed, then it works well. It's bigger, older, and heavier than some of its competitors, so there's that. But it does sound good. Line 6 website could really use some organization, but the community is great. That's really this things saving grace.

Snagged one of these used with the bag for a good price, and wow i'm blown away. It sounds better than my real amp in some regards, and the hx edit makes dialing in presets super easy. v3.71 is great, and the amount of fx and their quality are unmatched. Highly recommend.

If you love amp/pedal modelling, this is a great board for you. With the massive amount of amps, cabinets, and effects that come with the Helix LT, you can get virtually any sound you want out of it. You like soaring leads, got it. You want high gain chugs? got it. Good cleans for Jazz? yup. You can even access their online preset site to check out what patches other people have made. Literally any sound is possible from this device. I will say if you are JUST getting into amp modelling, look for something a little smaller than this, as this does have a huge learning curve and can be very complicated for beginners.

I love all the tone options and editing available on the Helix. This works well for my live rig ian's studio. In fact, even the audio interface was effortless to setup and is surprisingly versatile. The routing possibilities are fantastic and useful.

Helix LT sounds amazing. The UI is very intuitive to operate and easy to understand. Downloading tones online is easy and smooth with the HX Edit app. The Helix is everything I thought it would be. Perfect choice for anyone looking to play in a live/worship setting. You can get nearly any sound from it.

Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what the blemish is. However, it would only be a minor cosmetic flaw and would not effect the items functionality.
