Lava

Description

Lava Retro Coil silent instrument cable use 99.999% OFC low-strand-count copper conductors to provide world-class, sonic performance. The cables coils bring you back to previous decades when it was hip to use coiled guitar cables.

Famous American guitarist, Reeves Gabrels says, "It's the best-sounding coil cable out there."

Alex Auxier of Orange Amplification says, "Lava's Retro Coil cable delivers great sound, and of course looks amazing with an Orange amp, but it offers a utilitarian advantage as well. The coiling makes for no more hassles when bundling and removes the need to worry about getting caught up in messy cords on stage. I'd recommend the Lava Retro Coil before any other."

The Retro Coil features 1/4" straight to 1/4" silent connections which allows you to plug in your guitar without hearing bothersome popping and buzzing sounds.

in less than a month of slight usage it began crackling after taking pains to not step on cable. the "silent" plug in/plug out jack works intermittently. guess i got a coiled lemon. hopefully, the quality of others' Lava Retro Coil Cables is better than mine. if this is the best QA they can offer, do not recommend. sadly, for me, a waste of $65, yet reluctant to toss it... hoping others have better luck with theirs. despite great concept, very disappointing execution ? at least with this particular cable...
