Lava

Description

Using 99.999% OFC low-strand-count copper conductors, this Lava cable has been designed to provide world-class, sonic performance. Its nostalgic coils bring you back to previous decades when it was hip to be coiled.

Famous American guitarist, Reeves Gabrels says, "it's the best sounding coil cable out there."

Alex Auxier of Orange Amplification says, "Lava's Retro coil cable delivers great sound, and of course looks amazing with an Orange amp, but it offers a utilitarian advantage as well. The coiling makes for no more hassles when bundling and removes the need to worry about getting caught up in messy cords on stage. I'd recommend the Lava Retro coil before any other."

1/4" straight to 1/4" straight connections.

I recall the days when coil cords were the norm in the 1970s and Lava has improved on the original design with regard to durability and response. For guitarists and bassists who bemoan that the cord is too heavy - note that at both ends there is a stretch of straight cord to loop through your strap (which prevents you from accidentally having the cord yanked out no matter what type of cable you use) and to anchor to your amp (which prevents you from accidentally pulling the head off your cabinet). The price is right - you'll never need another instrument cable.
