Love the strings- La Bella are my fav. Had the last set 9 years. The worn ones have a great thump to them. Guitar center, why did it take almost two weeks to ship?!?! Will not buy from them again. Looks like reverb is the better option. Cheaper and better customer service.

I don't understand why any one would ever need to change strings again after you put these sonic marvels on your bass. Perfect tone and string to string balance. These strings truly get better with age and are so good for your frets and fingers. And now with various gauge options you can match the perfect set to your perfect sound. Thanks LaBella for your contribution to the past, the present and the future of historic bass tone on so many great recordings.

I already use this same La Bella's Deep Talkin' Bass on my '77 Fender P-Bass and I wouldn't trade it for nothing. Now I've got the same flats on my Squier Jazz Bass and oh boy! The sound is amazing! It kinda compensates the lack of a bassier sound which is inherent of a JB with an incredibly mellow tone and I'm loving it! These are definately the best strings I've ever played on!

These strings are not the same as they were a few years ago. Stiff and brittle. The E string broke when putting it on the bass. Not happy with La Bella, and I have never used anything else on my bass. I will be using something different now.

  • No better strings...

I've been playing for just a few years, but I quickly learned just how awesome the LaBella strings are, and they are my first choice when I need new strings! I have them on both my P and Jazz bass and love them both. They sound great. They feel great. And I love that '60s vibe I get when I hear them. C'mon, give 'em a shot!

Decided to try flatwounds on my P-Bass and decided these classic Labellas were the way to go. However, the G string broke during the initial tuning. First time I've broken a string in over 40 years playing bass.
