LR Baggs

Description

The LR Baggs X-Bridge is a great sounding bridge even without the pickups, and its special piezo crystal employs 2 deflection modes to give you shimmering highs and rich lows. Its output level is comparable to that of a stock Strat and it will plug directly into most guitar amps with fine results. Its tremolo is provided with a Delrin arm bushing for silky smooth operation. Drops onto the posts of any American Standard Strat (with 2-1/16" spacing E to E). Comes with a one-year warranty.

Installation was easy and was a direct replacement for my Fender Strat Tremelo and sounds great when working. I installed with the CTRL-X preamp which fit perfectly; however the 1/4" jack that came with the preamp is faulty. Beware, warranty for this product is only available when installed by an authorized professional. DIYers like me, are unable to request an RMA for part replacement.

After a few eq adjustments I was able to get some sweet sounds out of this thing. I recommend it, it isn't a full jumbo or dreadnought, but sounds really good.

Will this go into a affinity stratocaster with the undated 2 point stock trem?

Unfortunately, no. The Squier is not made to American Standard spec. In a case like this we recommend having a qualified guitar tech look at the guitar
