Bold in look and grounded in tradition, the LP Tony Succar congas reflect the musical vision of an artist deeply rooted in Latin percussion. Tony Succar is a two-time Latin Grammy–winning bandleader, producer and percussionist known for bridging classic Afro-Cuban rhythms with modern Latin music through both performance and composition. Created in collaboration with Tony, this conga draws directly on his experience as a working timbalero and ensemble leader shaping contemporary salsa and Latin jazz.

Traditional Materials With Contemporary Appointments

New Zealand pine stave shells deliver bright, open and punchy tones with a balanced response, while a Rainbow finish and black nickel hardware add a contemporary visual edge. Finished with natural rawhide heads and LP’s Comfort Curve II rims for comfort and control, the Tony Succar conga is available in 11", 11.75" and 12.5" sizes, covering quinto, conga and tumba voices within a cohesive, performance-ready setup.
