LP

Description

These days everybody doubles on other instruments and plays toys. The LP Performance Tray makes this possible and convenient. It puts percussion and a host of accessories at arm's reach, securely mounted, and there when you need them.

The LP Performance Tray takes the place of what you used to employ--spare music stands with tops turned horizontally, folding chairs, and other makeshift flat spaces. A full 21" long and 8" deep, the Tray boasts a durable gold vein textured finish. A rubber resting surface facilitates quiet placement of hand-held percussion instruments, especially important in passages. Another saving grace: the tray incorporates a raised edge lined with molded rubber and grooved to hold in place maracas, sticks, claves, Flex-A-Tones (wouldn't want one of those careening down the bandstand!) and, yes, trombone mutes and car keys.

Singers will find the tray particularly useful: They can mount the LP Performance Tray on a mic stand. If they play tambourine, they will make good use of the "swing out" tambourine holder.

If you've read this far, and you're a working musician or a bandleader, you've already recognized that the LP Performance Tray is a lifesaver. It is one of LP's many creature comforts-smartly designed, durable and musician friendly.

Working 40-50 dates in eleven months; 10 cities 12 venues requires a lot of load in/out. I was using a percussion style table that took up right-side floor space and required twisting too much to that side. Item could not be packed. Replaced that issue with this tray that strongly clamps to an existing cymbal stand within my reach. No more twisting, freed up floor space;packable. Perfect.

  • Nice addition to my drum set.

The LP performance tray is bigger than I imagined and it holds all the accessories that I purchased it to hold. It is quick to mount. I mounted it on my mic stand and it is easily accessible. It is a quality piece and I would highly recommend it ti anyone who needs a little extra storage for drum or other music accessories.

In my LP tray: Harmonicas, pens, ashtray, drink, tuner, plus - tambourine and harmonica holder hand neatly on the fold out. Have the LP tray attached to my mixer stand.

Good design and solid construction and quality materials. Easy to assemble. I put a cow bell/drumstick, vibraslap, 3 eggs shakers, train whistle, 2 other shakers, and a tambourine on it. Plenty of room. I added adhesive backed foam rubber to the clamping surfaces to prevent scratching and to hold the machine bolts in place while you screw it down. Also added a piece of foam where the swing arm (tambourine) contacts the main body so it won' scratch. Love it!

This rack is sturdy, practical, inexpensive, and easy to install. Very solid, no vibration. I have it on a cymbal stand to the right of my kit. Easily holds bells, shakers, toys in general. It is well padded which facilitates switching from rods to sticks to mallets by making the transitions easy and quiet; as I make these changes frequently, this was an important function for me. Highly recommended without hesitation for any application where space is limited.

This is an excellent tool for the percussionist! I am a singer also playing congas and this tray holds all of my hand pieces, ie: cabasa, shakers & cowbell with room for sticks, all without rolling or sliding off and replacing items is very quiet with the special no skid liner. The pull-out tambourine arm is perfect for access while standing in front of stand or beside it. Great choice!
