  • LP mic claw

Even though LP claims that this item will fit on a conga rim; it does not stay firmly attached. The "jaw" sections are just too small to get a good grip on the conga rim (BTW, I have LP congas). This will fit standard drum rims and perhaps bongos. Returned.

We used an SM57 mic for our violinist. Our sound team had problems controlling the sound as she moved away from the mic stand. Now she has freedom of movement and greatly enhanced sound quality. This mic is worth every-penny!

  • Claw is now too small for cymbal stands

LP has reduced the size of the clamp and now the Claw will not grab onto a cymbal stand, as it has for the past 20 years. Professional timbale players would rather not clamp onto the rim since it bends the drum down. The Claw has been the tool of choice until now. No longer.
