    I use this stand with my Remo Mondo Djembe. The stand has rubber grips inside the ring which hold the drum in any position you desire while playing. There are many adjustment holes, so finding the ideal ring size for the drum and leg height is relatively easy. Once the stand is fully assembled, it is difficult to readjust since you have to take it completely apart for a different size drum or if you need to readjust the leg height. I recommend replacing the nuts that come with the stand with wingnuts if you plan on assembling and disassembling this stand between venues.

    This stand is nothing spectacular. It gets the job done and is a reasonable buy. It is easy to put together and is very sturdy. The hardware that comes with the kit is cheap and flimsy. When putting the stand 2 out of the6 leg bolts broke. If you are looking for a basic stand then this is a great buy.

    I notice that one customer said that these stands placed his congas too high so....I am concerned about the height.... A few questions - please: 1. Will these fit the Lp Performer series congas properly? 2. Are the Aspire and Performer series the same size in height? 3. If they do fit the LP Performer series....What is the lowest height can these stands be set out including the LP Performer congas? (from ground to top of the LP Performer conga?)
