LP

collapse expand iconDescription

These conga feet fit securely onto the base of your drum and raise it about 1" off the ground, allowing volume and bass tones to resonate freely while creating a solid, stable playing position.

Comprised of high-grade rubber, these feet will neither scratch nor mar the finish of a drum or floor. An adjustable cord connects the feet to keep them together.

Good but will not fit all congas.

I have the LP Classic II congas and they fit really well and the congas feel firmly placed and steady for the most part. They lift the congas just enough to help with the resonance of the sounds from below the congas. However, I have another set of LP fiberglass original congas and the rubber feet did not fit. So they will not fit all congas.

Cannot recommend. Depends on your congas and patience.

I have the galaxy fiberglass drums. They are too heavy for these. I had these for years and they were frustrating to use. They move around too much. If you need to make slight adjustments to your setup, expect to make huge adjustments to your conga feet. This is very tedious if you are in tight spaces such as a small music studio or live stage. Also, you need a hard surface for these. I ended up selling them.

Just received these LP feet today and easily installed on the bottom of my LP Uptown Tumba and Quinto drums. They installed in seconds and seem to be well made and keep my conga drums sturdy! I know some reviews said they were not made well and caused their drums to move. For me they work well. My conga drums are on a nice piece of 3/4" wood and these conga feet lay well on top of the wood keeping my conga drums sturdy and level. Sure, the slightly move when playing them but that happens regardless of what your conga drums are on top of. No biggie! The biggest benefit is the major tone difference! When using these LP Conga feet on my drums, they produce a much more noticeable deeper solid heavy tone! So now I can choose if I want to use them and get a deeper tone or remove them and have a lower less punchy tone! In my opinion these work well and worth the investment. I was looking at the Round wood LP platform base too but for now these are fine!!

  • Great Idea, Poor Implementation!

Don't waste your money. Your congos will not be steady when using them because they roll forward from the weight and will collapse on you when playing. The rubber is such poor quality that it will split in half after only a few gigs. It also leaves black streaks on hardwood, tile, and linoleum floors and dark smudges on carpeting as well.

  • Get a proper conga bass sound.

I wanna use this for a 12" Djembe-it looks like you can adjust the rope that connects them together, but how does that work and do they help to make it a snug fit between the rubber feet-and is there a way to adjust the feet themselves? TIA
