LP

collapse expand iconDescription

The rugged LP290B double conga stand adjusts in height from a drum head height of 37" - 48". The stand uses an exclusive pin-lock which prevents the vertical support tube from slipping (even under pressure from the most heavy-handed conga players). Made of heavy-gauge, chromeplated steel, the dual conga stand is equipped with LP's exclusive custom-made casters (with brakes). The stand's mounting brackets prevent congas from twisting during performance and the adjustable drum separators permit angle adjustments. Mounting screws at the top of the conga stand mean easier wing nut tightening.

Great for a quick stage change or just general playing.

I used this stand at a church and i like it because one you can move it around much more easier. The Rollers are not bad maybe the other guy who commented on this had a defect on his stand but not all LP stands have the same problem. Its heavy duty and is quite strong to hold the matador congas they have and bongos on it. The only thing i don't like bu is not a big deal is when its on carpet it can sometimes be a hassle to move it but not much as to break your back. Good stand overall just need to check for defects before you comment.

Eveything about the stand is heavy duty except the rollers or casters. I bought this stand brand new and on the second gig the ball bearings started to fall out of the top of the caster housing. There is no way to tighten the gap to prevent the bearings from exiting the bearing cup (unlike a bicycle).
