With Flamenco style guitar strings and an Exotic Makah Burl soundboard you get a wide dynamic range of highs and lows as well as an amazing look out of this cajon. A padded seating surface and large rubber feet make it a joy to play.

    The cajon was well packed with large bubble wrap and paper and the box did not appear to have been mishandled. Upon my first inspection I could see that the upper right corner appeared to have suffer impact hard enough split the front sound board. There were multiple scratches into the wood. There were several places where the lacquer and paint had some small chips. The GC rep was very good in issuing a return label, advising me that I would soon receive a full refund.
