Bought this amp a couple weeks ago just because it was so cheap, and figured what the heck. Didn't expect much, and at first that was what i got when i plugged straight in as i like an 80's rock Marshall tone. But once i plugged the pedals in, WOW what a change.I use a pretty simple set-up of a mega distortion, super overdrive, and a noise supressor. When i kicked in the overdrive pedal this amp sounds very similar to an AC/DC tone. If you like really chimey cleans you will love this one.

I have owned this beauty for about 2 months now and it is really to good for the money. It sounds excellent at low volumes and can handle itself up to about 3/4 up the knob. I found out recently that at full volume it not as good with added especially with the gain turned on. Also even for a practice amp it could not go against a 14 piece drum kit. The amp I received was not like the one pictured, I got one with white twead speaker cover and looks killer. All in all, this sucker is real nice. I say buy it if you want good sound for low price, and get your self some style points as well.

This amp should have many rave reviews by now. I've used this amp for the last couple of years, playing in club sized rooms with no problems in reguards to volume or tone in a combo w/drummer. Most small amps with an 8" speaker and less than 15W would never accomplish what this one can. With the aid of a compression pedal with the volume increased, this little guy cuts the mustard around the other musicians in the group. The speaker is the only 8" that Celestion puts it's name on and it plays clear as a bell at any volume, and even though you might think it's only half a tube amp, it has a warm, clean tone that sounds great, with or without other efects added to you chain. For my tastes, I prefer using an overdrive pedal than it's own gain channel, and for the price it's money well spent.
